When JJ Lin first debuted, the media called him a threat to Jay, Leehom, David. However to the dissapointment of media, last year JJ Lin and Leehom formed a friendship. JJ Lin expressed, "At first I was afraid because Leehom has been in the industry for over 10 years, so he’s like a forefather. I thought he wouldn’t want to talk to me because I was just the young guy. I was so surprised when he approached me and started talking to me. He was so easy to talk to and nice. Nothing like I had expected." Since then they became quick friends.
JJ Lin made his Cao Cao album in New York. Leehom who is a native New Yorker, was also in New York at the time working on his GSYX album. Because this was JJ Lin's first time in New York, Leehom helped him with housing and took him around the city and to such events as Yankee Games. Leehom also introduced his own friends such as Grammy winning Mike G. to help out one JJ's new album. The two were able to inspire one another and exchange musical ideas, Leehom thanked JJ Lin on his GSYX album. JJ Lin thanked Leehom on his Cao Cao Album as well.
During the time together the two recorded a R/B song together. "We were really excited" Leehom said, "though it was sometimes hard to get work done because we were too easily amused and goofed off a bit too much." Both Leehom and JJ were excited about their collaboration. However, on a recent interview in Malaysia Leehom revealed that sadly the song had to be scraped.
"It's a bit disappointing. We had everything recorded, but because of *cough* problems between our companies *cough*, it couldn’t be released. It's a shame that music has to be tainted by business, music would be so much purer if we didn’t have to filter it through business tactics." Leehom expressed.

Wang Leehom <10 Things He Is Most Proud Of In His Life> 1. I feel like I have a mysterious fate/destiny with my fans. From the beginning till now, 11 years later, my fans have given me a lot of support. They come to my signings, sing my songs and go to my concerts; they give me a lot of gifts, which gave me a lot of creative ideas, to write many different types of music, so my fans are the best.
2. My older and younger brothers. I am so happy we have a great relationship.
3. The third proudest thing in my life is my older brother's son. My dad is the eldest, and my older brother too. My brother's son represents a new generation of the Wang's family.
4. "Heroes of Earth Concert" is also one of my proudest, it reflected that during these 11 years, not only me but my producers, band coach, music direction, lighting, sound teacher, the performer, and dancers worked hard.
5. When I was 17, I went to Taiwan to live with my grandmother. She did not know English and I didn't know Chinese, but we have such an unusual fate. I am proud to say that I am her favorite grandson.
6. Being able to write Chinese is a proud matter. In the music world besides knowing how to write a melody, you also need to know how to write songs (words) because that is how you express your music.
7. Last year on my birthday, May 17, my fans wrote me a song and gave it to me as my birthday gift, that song is called "Love, because it's in the heart", my fans wrote it, composed the music and sang it themselves, they even had a MV, I was really touched by that.
8. On my 27th bday, I worked with Toa Chi Chi and other singers for SARS. The best thing was on that day because no one cared how much it would cost to be in the studio, the management company didn't mind their singers having to give up their time to promote, etc. We all worked together because we wanted to give our hearts to the people, not as a music business.
9. No matter what kind of music, the best kind of work is for charity. Like when Cheung Wai Mui wrote "Love Won't Disappear" during 911.
10. Even though I've been in the business for 11 years, my dreams haven't changed. I still want to establish a music school and perform in a Chinese broadway show. I chose to be a singer not because of the money or the brand name clothes, but it's because I know I haven't given up my first dream. I will always work hard and I hope my fans won't give up their dreams either.

Alexander Wang Lee Hom recently came to Hong Kong to hold another concert, he also went to enjoy good friend David Tao's concert. Next week, he'll fly to mainland China, Singapore, and Japan etc. to hold tours.
Yesterday, he accepted a broadcasting station's interview. When they were talking about love, he spoke frankly about not meeting an appropriate companion. He estimates that his good friend David Tao will marry and have a family before him. He also said that he is a very loyal person to love, even though the entertainment circle is very enticing, he doesn't want to be affected too much. Simply a stunning and hot person will not attract him, he says he still really likes beautiful-on-the-inside type of people. Also he claims that he doesn't believe in love at first sight.
