Campus Tour Report UPDATED: 5/23 Taipei Report

Currently i'm in Taiwan, so I went to his campus tour in Tainan last saturday.. I've shared this elsewhere but I haven't share it here.. so here it goes..

My friends and I got our ticket and number (13-17) it means that we will be in front! yayyy~ too bad, its a festival.. so standing up.. *sigh* we went to the venue at 5:00ish.. we stand in line according to our number.. and went in at 6:30ish.. there i am, standing in front center.. woohoo! there were 5 of us.. people from my left and right started pushing.. it was annoying!! that what made me mad before the concert..

the concert started late, it started at 7:30ish, supposedly 7:00.. the band members were Jingle in bass, Kheng Long, guitarist and drummer that i don't know who..

the band is ready on stage, just missing the singer, Wang Lee Hom.. he came out from the side with his painted guitar and sang 'What's Wrong With Rock!!' and 'Ai De De Ti' he was so into his guitar, it seemed that he missed performing after the movie.. he sang with all his might go to the left and right.. he was ecstatic, excited, and all that into one.. he even played guitar and "played"/bang the piano with his feet during ai de de ti.. hahaha~

Then Bruce brought his violin, before playing his next song he was talking about how he went to Tainan for Ang Lee.. it turns out he was in New York last week (nobody knew huh?!) and he went out to eat with Ang Lee.. Ang Lee said he misses home, it turns out Ang Lee went to school in Tainan.. and Lee Hom said that Tainan is a nice place to live..

then he started to play 'Luo Ye Gui Gen' oh my goodness.. i felt like there were only him and i in that place.. I LOVE this song.. especially live.. then afterwards, Bruce came out again.. brought out his baby.. BAHAMUT! he was singing 'Xin.Tiao'.. We can see how full of emotion he was when he was singing this song. I didn't know if this song is based on his love life with his ex but after this performance, I believe it is. His eyes were sparkling, watery.. like he wanted to cry.. not only me, but 2 of my friends said the same thing.. then during the guitar bridge, he seem pissed.. because his baby (Bahamut) was not on... he was like disappointed.. he was so into the song and this had to happened.. for a perfectionist as he is, i know he is disappointed..

then Evan Yo came out.. I didn't know he was going to sing.. lolz.. he sang 3 songs, 'Wo Hui Lai Le', 'Stay With Me', then 'Wo Ke Yi'.. one of my friend brought a drawing book so we can write anything we want.. when he sang stay with me, she wrote "Evan, we're staying.." and he read it.. hahahah~ he said it out loud too!! it was stupidly hilarious.. and during 'Wo Ke Yi' she wrote 'Dang Ran Ke Yi!' don't ask me why.. hahaha~

then Lee Hom came out again.. and he sang 'Gai Bian Zi Ji' my friend wrote "I want nobody nobody but you.." he was right in front of us kneeling and reading that quote while singing.. he even squint his eyes.. and laugh.. didn't ruin his singing though.. but yeah.. hahahaah~ i didn't know that it was that quote she showed, so i didn't know what he was laughing about.. hahaha~ then he introduced a girl (forgot her name... its in the article) she's a student at that uni and they sang 'Another Heaven' together.. to be honest, she cannot sing well.. she goes off all the time.. I was disappointed.. I expected more.. then afterwards he sang 'No Reason To Pay Attention to You' finally i hear this song live.. he was having fun with this song.. he was so high that he went up the chair..

he then introduced someone,, it was A-Lin.. Dai Ai Ling.. she sang 3 songs.. don't remember the title of the first 2.. but the 3rd one was 'Dui De Ren'? i like this song.. ^^ she was so powerful.. gosh i wish i have a voice like hers!! ><

after the 3 songs.. he went to the piano and there's a tune that's so simple.. its 'A Simple Song' it was just him and his piano.. the piano was not the best condition.. i mean i doesn't seem to be in tune..

before the concert started, we put a part of the ticket that has our name on it to a sony ericsson box.. it was for a prize.. a phone.. ^^ after 'A Simple Song' he picked out a winner from the box..

after that he was calling out a girl.. don't know who she was,, but it turns out the bf wants to propose to her.. guess what.. Lee Hom sang for them.. 'Everything'.. it was nice.. while the guy proposed, he played the piano.. and of course she said "Yes!"

He then introduced somebody else.. it was his teacher.. the teacher who taught him how to play Piano.. Andy something.. it was a nice surprise.. ^^ the teacher played the piano.. and he sang.. it was 'I Got You (I Feel Good)' by James Brown.. it was nice.. a nice surprise.. it made my day better.. =p the teacher is now teaching in Tainan..

afterwards the Sony Ericsson guy came out again.. they're picking out 5 people to go up on stage, well Lee Hom picked.. while they're waiting for those 5 people to get on stage, the band was playing.. and then Lee Hom improvised I feel Good.. it was awesome.. ^^

his Bahamut is now out again.. and he's singing 'Gai Shi Ying Xiong' and 'Fang Kai Ni De Xin' like in the concert.. but now, the Bahamut actually works!! woohoo!! then after that he bowed and said his goodbye.. but the band is not packed yet.. so you know what it means?? we need to scream encore.. ^^

then he came out again.. and confusingly go to the piano.. it seems that the band is not ready for this song or something.. because the guitarist and drummer seems to be new.. but they did it anyway.. it was 'Ai De Gu Li' before he start singing,, he become a choir/music teacher.. he told us that the girl has to do the high part during the chorus and the guys has to take the lower part.. then ask who can do high notes and all that.. he looked at me when i raised my hand when he said who can sing in high notes.. not a lot of people raised their hand.. then he started to sing.. during the chorus and when it was our part to sing, he keep on standing up and facing us.. and start playing the piano again after that.. hahaha~ since the piano is not in tune, he was like laughing at himself.. i think a few people noticed that the piano was not in tune.. oh and i think the band was kinda off key in the beginning.. i think it was the guitarist.. oh well..

then he sang 'Kiss Goodbye' as his last song.. and did the encore version of 'What's Wrong With Rock!!' while during the encore, he was like introducing his band members.. and said all the countries name.. Hong Kong, Indonesia (us), Panama, and i didn't hear the rest.. then he went in..

All in all, it was not his best performance, but memorable for us.. I know he didn't rehearse for this concert with the band for a while.. its his 1st concert after movie filming.. so i have to give him props to actually did it.. hope it was longer though.. *sigh*

next one to go, Taizhong!! ^^ I can't wait!

Taizhong Campus Tour

At taizhong campus tour, our number were 81-100 because there were 20 of us.. renny and her friend were in front of us because they won the competition.. (congrats) anyway, we went to the university at 6.30 because it was far from taizhong.. about 1 hour bus ride.. the campus was like in the middle of nowhere.. hahhah~ anyhoo.. we waited in line according to the number until 7.30.. at that time we went to the place where the concert will be held.. we got separated.. some of us were in the middle, some of us were on the right.. but i was in 2nd row. awesome spot! we had to wait for like another 30 mins until MM came out.. it was annoying to hear the same commercial for 30 mins.. >.< before the concert start, the MC came out and saying that he is going to draw out 2 names.. 1st name will sing Ling Yi Ge Tian Tang with him and 2nd name is the winner for the cell phone..

then the band members came out, which mean that the concert is about to start.. when Jingle came out, i shouted his name and he turned to me.. i asked my friend "was I THAT loud?" they said.. yeah.. hahahaha~ then we could hear his voice (forgot what he said..) but everybody screamed.. and he came out and sang Yao Gun Zen Me Le?! continue by Ai De De Ti during Ai De De Ti, he seem to forgot some of the lyrics.. and the band kinda messed up too.. it was kinda funny.. after that he was saying a few words.. and shout out to everybody who came.. Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Canada, HK.. i was shouting "Yin Ni!" he didn't hear it.. he continued talking and asked something.. but the girls i was with were the only one who answered it and they were loud.. hahaha~ he saw to our side and saw me wearing OHI t-shirt.. and he said "Oh Yin Ni de peng you!" i was like.. yeaaahhh!! in my head were that in the middle there are 3 OHI members and he didn't see that? hahaahah~ i felt special.. =p (thanks girls for your loud voice.. ^^) then a friend of mine had a sign up "Tyson from California is here!" and he read that too!! he was jumping up and down b/c of that.. hahaha~ anyhoo.. then he was about to play the violin, but something didn't work.. then he asked if it's okay to talk.. so he just talk how he bought a NT$600,000 2nd hand environmental friendly car because his younger brother persuaded him through sms if i'm not mistaken... then he play his violin to start sing Luo Ye Gui Gen with Lust, Caution pictures in the background.. during the song, while he was playing the violin, somebody said "You are so sexy!!" i was laughing non-stop.. after that Bahamut came out and he showed the laser eye.. i finally saw the laser eyes.. and he sang Xin Tiao.. it was beautiful.. he was not as emotional as in Tainan...

then he introduced his first guest star, it was once again.. Evan Yo.. he sang three song Hui Lai Le, Stay With Me, and Wo Ke Yi.. after hui lai le, our group screamed "You are so cute!" and he answered "You are so beautiful.." hahahhhaha~ i was laughing.. but he was cute that day.. he sang better this time.. he kept on looking to our side after that 'you are so cute' incident.. i swear there was a lot of eye contact.. he was cute.. since then his 'wo ke yi' song stuck in my head.. >.<

next, our MM came out again and sang Gai Bian Zi Ji and then he introduced the winner of the 1st name.. the girl came out with a paper on her hand.. and he asked "what is that?" and it is the lyric.. hahaha~ then they sang Ling Yi Ge Tian Tang together.. to be honest, this girl is way better than the one in Tainan.. >.< leehom read the lyrics with the girl and sometime when the girl goes off pitch he would have this funny look.. hahaha~ then suddenly somebody sang Happy Birthday! and there were 32 fans came out with cake.. and the video from International FC were played.. too bad OHI's video was not played.. >.< i was kinda disappointed.. but there were OurHome Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, HK, Korea, and Taiwan.. not sure about the others.. then the next song was Wo Wan Quan Mei You Ren He Li You Li Ni and the Japanese Fan that won the Pajamas on 1st March were there.. and she gave him the Pajamas, and he wore it.. ahahahah~ and then gave it back to her..

then the next singer came out, it was Joanna Wang she sang 6 songs Dream a Little Dream of Me, A Man, Ain't She a Sweet, Honey Pie, Vincent, and Mei Gui Gui Mu Ai.. she was good, but not interactive.. my friend shouted "I Love You Joanna Wang" and there was silence.. her performance was too long for a guest star i guess..

Lee Hom came out and go to the piano then talk a bit to Joanna, for me it was an awkward conversation.. then Joanna left and then he sang A Simple Song and Everything.. in Everything he kept saying "Ni Jiu Shi Everything" instead of "Cause You're My Everything" and he kinda skip a part at the end.. but it was still nice.. while these two songs, he just played the piano.. his other band members did not play.. it was nice.. then the MC came out for the quizzes.. and he picked one of my friend because he had a sign that say "Pick me please!" so yeah..

then Bahamut came out again.. and he sang Gai Shi Ying Xiong and Fang Kai Ni De Xin and he was like saying his goodbyes and introducing the band members.. and left the stage.. we know it was not the end, so we shouted Encore and his name.. and he came out again.. and he sang Kiss Goodbye kneeling in the centre of the stage.. and received gifts from fans.. and finally the encore of Yao Gun Zen Me Le?!.. afterwards he took all the presents and went off stage..

all in all, he was really hyper, happy, handsome that day.. afterwards.. we waited in front of the stage and took picture with Kheng Long and Jingle again.. I was talking to Jingle the whole time we took pictures.. hahaha~ i asked if he is going to be in Taipei concert again, he said of course.. and asked if i was going.. i said yeah, i live in taipei anyway.. hahaha~ in conclusion, everybody i dragged along was happy.. even the ones that doesn't know who leehom was.. i am glad they had fun.. ^^

did i forget anything?

o btw, i will go to the one in Taipei next week. ^^ and he was in a hurry because he was going back to Taipei by High Speed Rail and he doesn't want to be late to his own b-day party right?! hahaha~ even Jingle didn't know there was a bday party..

Taipei Campus Tour

This time is the Taipei Campus Tour at Ming Chuan University. We went to the venue at 4 PM and start to line up. From the entrance to the venue, we had to walk up so many stairs that made my friends and I tired after reaching the top. While lining up, we could hear LeeHom’s rehearsing/sound check at the top. At 6 PM, we went in and got our position, from center to left hand side front. Our group was once again a big group, in total 23 of us. Before the concert start, it started raining and the organizers covered the music instruments and speakers, but thank goodness it stopped on time. At 7:30PM the MC came out and picked 2 names from the box for singing with Lee Hom and Cell Phone winner. Then he came out with a simple outfit, just a T-shirt and pants, and start to sing Yao Gun Zen Me Le but then there was a mistake, I think it was the beat. So him and the band stopped and start from beginning. The next song is Ai De De Ti and it made everybody high. While changing his guitar to his violin, he talked a bit. He shouted out people from my group “Tyrone and Tyson” and “Karyl Lee” which made our group high. As the violin is out, we all know what the next song is, Luo Ye Gui Gen. I just love it everytime he performed this song, made me fall in love with him all over again. Then he changed his violin to his best friend, Bahamut, and sing Xin Tiao. Everytime he sings this song, it is full of emotion, but I still think the Tainan performance was the best, except for the part where Bahamut didn’t work.

He introduced his first guest, it was, once again, Evan Yo. After the Taizhong concert, his Wo Ke Yi song stucked in my head for 4 days. He sang 3 songs, Wo Hui Lai Le, Stay With Me, and Wo Ke Yi. Before Stay With Me (I think) he had a shout out to the Ming Chuan University students and he said that he goes to ShiDa. Half of our group are from ShiDa so we shouted “SHIDA!” and he was like “Are you guys ShiDa students?” All of us were like “YEAH!” and he’s like, “I’m going to this side then” we were shouting like crazy.

LeeHom came out again and he has his painted guitar and started to sing Gai Bian Zi Ji. He called out the winner’s name and they start to sing Ling Yi Ge Tian Tang. Out of all 3 campus tour, the one in Taizhong was the best, for me personally. Afterward, he interacted with the fans again. He shouted all the countries that came: Japan, HK, Thailand, Canada, and South Africa. He didn’t say Indonesia, but its okay. After saying South Africa, he says how he’s going to Africa on Saturday for the World Vision and how he took vitamins and vaccines shot prior to the trip. Then he introduced the next song that is nominated for the Golden Melody Award, Wan Quan Mei You Ren He Li You Li Ni. He loved to say “And that’s the truth *beep*” during the performance. I was screaming that part too.

He introduced the next artist, he was an artist that I don’t know, his name is Xiao Hong Ren and he had a powerful voice. Not a bad performance from him. He sang 3 songs that I don’t know the title since I don’t know who he was, but the 3rd song was in TaiYu.

LeeHom came out again and went straight to the Piano. He was playing a simple tune and it turns out to be the next song Simple Song, without the band, just him and his piano. Right after the song ended, he scratched his biceps, because it was bitten by mosquito while he was playing the piano. Then he said “Wait wait wait.. I want nobody nobody but you Wang Lee Hom, xie xie.” I was like, that’s so familiar, and it turns out my friend put up our drawing book and he read it. I was screaming. Then Jingle came to him to give him balm for his mosquito bite. He then play his piano again it was Everything. He keep on forgetting the words “Cause You’re My Everything…” he keep on singing “你就是Everything.” He also ended it abruptly that the audience didn’t know it was the end until he said, “Xie xie” the audience cheered after knowing it was the end. The MC came out again, and she was talking about the quiz. During the quizzes when he gave out the gift, he accepted gifts from fans too. Such as painting, that he thought was a picture and was shocked when he found out it was a painting, and the Guitar Sunglass, that he wore on stage.

After the quiz ended, Bahamut came out again and this time we’re back on to the Chinked-Out era, it was Gai Shi Ying Xiong and Fang Kai Ni De Xin. It was a fun song that made everybody high. Then he introduced the band members and went to his piano. This time he is a choir teacher again! He told us that the girls sing the high part and the boys sing the low part. He was happy that we got it correctly. Then we, as a huge group sing together Ai De Gu Li. The first half of the song, he performed Ai De Gu Li with the Guitar Sunglass. After that he sang Kiss Goodbye on the piano for the first half then went to the front of the stage and received gifts from fans on the second half. We all know it was about to end. Afterwards he sang the Encore Version of Yao Gun Zen Me Le. We chatted with Jingle again, he is an awesome guy. All in all, it was a great concert, as always. I will miss this campus tour, since I went to all 3. I love all three concerts for different reasons. I can’t wait to see Music-Man again! When will that be? We don’t know.
