Best Chinese pop concert: Wang Lee Hom
Kenneth Kong Ken Mun, 28, Radio 1003 deejay
'I caught eight or nine Chinese pop concerts and the one that left the biggest impression on me was Taiwanese- American singer-songwriter Wang Lee Hom's show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last month.
I think I was happier listening to Eason Chan's concert but a concert is more than just about the songs, it is about showmanship as well.
Wang's concert was suitably extravagant. He had magic tricks, there were three people dressed like him on stage at the same time and he disappeared from stage and reappeared at the back of the stadium.
These segments definitely had the element of surprise.'
