You mean we can just spend 50bucks a month? Eveytime we donate is to the same child or is it an overall thing? Where by, all the children or at least a few of them are able to enjoy this donation?

Actually to think back... 50bucks a month is really very little... Think of 10 Macdonald's meals... One month how many time you ate that? Even if you are not working, I believe from your pocket money, we are able to ford that amount out. Singaporean are getting far too much pocket money.. I remember I used to have 2bucks pocket money in Primary School a day and now, they are getting like, 5bucks? 5 bucks x 22days = 110 bucks... (This is Primary School) I don't find a reason to say not enough money... Even 10bucks a month to them is a lot. Imagine 10 bucks to Singaporean is just a meal.

Hmm, actually you can choose the child of any country that you want to sponsor to. The website has some photos of the children from different countries. If you want to see more, you may request from World Vision Singapore. It is a monthly contribution that you need to commit upon agreeing to be a sponsor. The monthly contribution amounts to about S$45, converting it from US dollars. Payment can be by Giro, Credit Card or Internet Banking. Upon being a sponsor, you will get updates about your child's growing process and well-being pretty regular.

When I was in lower primary, I only get $1.20 for lunch allowance. Haha.. back then canteen food wasn't so expensive. Yeah I think you get to select a child you want to sponsor and must be committed to it. Don't just do it at the spur of the moment. Think carefully first. It's harder for students but working adults should be able to afford $45 per month!

Wow, I think it is really meaningful to help these poor children. I am still a student but I think students can also save money to help them! No harm eating less.
