Though Leehom did miss the que for a couple of the songs, the whole concert was a blast!! The lightings was great too! But, Leehom didnt sing Ni Bu Zai. One of my favs. Aww. My first ever real concert and bound to be the best! And it has all ended. Well, before the concert began, I was at the verge of crying. I was feeling giddy and hungry and thirsty. My only companion was my handphone and I texted my best friend. But somehow, when the concert began, all the feelings went away. Luckily. It came back again when I was on my way home. I was feeling tired and all. How i wish my dad could picked me up so that I can sleep comfortably in his car. It was such a dread! I slept right away when I got back home. Thats almost 1am. Guess, my favourite part was when he played the violin, Cinema Paradiso (beautiful!!) and Hua Tian Cuo. I enjoyed the rest too of course. Awesome!! 3 cheers for Leehom! Sasa and her popo was there too! I saw them all the way from where I was sitting. Haha. so that's it !! cinema paradiso !!! i loved that portion !! this was my FIRST Leehom concert and it EXCEEDED all my expectations !!! (yeah, i did expect a little after watching the taiwan concert dvd)..hats off to the OurHme Sg vid..so great! i eagerly wait for the next one... =)

I guess I could have seen a little more if I had stood up more often, but I'm more of the sort who likes enjoying a concert quietly. I would have preferred to listen and watch attentively, sitting down, so that I could take in everything quietly. You know, just like enjoying a movie at the cinema. Besides, it wouldn't have helped much if the people in front were much taller. People have different ways of expressing (and enjoying) themselves, so I can't really fault them, but I couldn't help getting irritated at them cos' I thought they could have been more considerate. On the other hand, I guess it just meant they were having fun. I'm just a little upset/irked because it was my first Leehom concert, but yet it has been marred to such an extent that I can't bring myself to be happy about it or recall anything pleasurable about the experiencee. I mean, I simply can't remember much of it at all, since I was so bothered. It's like watching a movie, only to be distracted by someone else throughout the show. It's not just the concert, I have been irked by the behavior of certain fans at autograph sessions and such. I mean, what's the point of me queing up orderly if people just cut the queue? Anyway, pardon my ranting. I'm just really upset I didn't/couldn't enjoy the concert as much as I wanted to. I was looking forward to it so much, and even paid for a $168 ticket, hoping it let me enjoy the concert to the fullest. Saving grace is that some of his earlier ballads did move me to tears, even though I may not necessarily be able to say the same for all. I hope the next time I decide to attend his concert again, I'll be able to make the most of it. And I'm glad the bulk of the audience enjoyed the concert. I dun understand u saying that you saying that you treat watching last night's concert like watching a movie in the cinema because a pop concert is certainly not for anyone to sit down?! I mean, if you really like to watch a concert quietly, i recommend that you watch some jazz or classical concerts next time. Or better, enjoy the concert watching the concert dvd in the comforts of your home loh, can save your $170 ticket. Imagine that if everyone was sitting down quietly last night while lee hom was singing energetically on stage, do you think he'll enjoy himself performing to such a quiet audience? I mean, for quiet songs, his love songs, everyone was sitting down, but you have to stand up and dance along with his upbeat chinked-out music. How can we resisit sitting down??? I hope you will understand, so next time if you decide to go and watch his concert again or any other pop concert, do stand and enjoy yourself!! Actually everyone is standing!

First of all I would like to thank Xiuyue and all her friends at Ourhome Singapore for organising the tickets for all of the overseas fans. I really appreciate it and a million thanks!
To be honest having seen Lee Hom's concert in HK a couple of months back the Singapore concert had both highs and lows.
Lee Hom looked tired as I think the filming is taking the toll on him. Some of the songs he sang a bit off key and also it was a bit shorter than HK / Taiwan shows.
But the most annoying thing for me and many other fans was that our views were blocked for part of the show because people kept putting up their sign boards and light boards. I think they were very inconsiderate as people at the back could not see at all.
On a more positive note, even though Lee Hom wasn't quite 100% he still gave his best and it was a good show. I thought I was crazy by flying all the way from HK to watch the show, but the atmosphere was much better than in HK. The audience here was more responsive and it was a good evening all in all.

Braveheart:
yeah i do understand that people stood up because they were enjoying the music and all. im more passive and reserved in nature (don't even dance when i go clubbing), and so wasn't inclined to stand up much. on hindsight, you are probably right, cos I would have seen more standing up.
admittedly i was rather irritated when my view was obstructed, that's why i voiced my opinion here. but I do understand that people were doing it because they enjoyed the concert, so like I said, can't fault them for that. it's good that so many people were having fun.
as for watching a dvd instead, well it just doesn't have the same atmosphere as a "live" concert, so i guess i was there for the atmosphere. which by the way, was pretty good.
and i guess, from the autograph sessions i attended, i was rather apprehensive prior to the concert. at previous leehom public outings, my view was usually obstructed by the banners that were being waved by the people in front, so i was afraid the same would happen at the concert. maybe that's why i felt so strongly abt people standing up.
well it is my first lee-hom concert so i guess i didn't really know what to expect, but now that I have some experience, I hope to have a better time next time round. at least, i think i'll try to be less reserved the next time round. i'll take your advice and will stand up and enjoy myself...

the bad ting was i was blocked by signboards almost throughout the concert. standing didn't help either. this is wad i get for paying $168. though i have to say the concert's indeed quite good considering how he have to switch between acting n singing. and i truly felt he did all he could. Though i believe it could have been better if not for his tight schedule due to the movie.i personally prefer his 2002 concert tho. the 360deg rotating drum stunt can nv be replaced i guess. No offence, but I really don't understand how someone can sit throughout during his concert. Imagine, what would leehom feel if everyone sat throughout his concert? I'm Singaporean but I think, in general, most Singaporean concert-goers are way too dull. About those placards, I was assigned to raise a placard by the fanclub. I understand how you feel about them.. That was the reason why i only held them up occasionally. But then again, what would it say about the audience if there's no placards at all. I think the mindsets of Singaporean concert-goers has to change.

hey hey... everyone's there to enjoy the concert! =)
To: CM, So let's forget about those unhappy stuffs that happened that night... To whoever who was being blocked... I'm sorry too as I also stood up... Imagine leehom seeing all of us sitting down while he's performing on the stage...? he must be thinking that he didn't do a good job by letting us, the audience to get involve in the whole concert... So next time... join us and stand up and get high! I'm reserved in nature too!
To: bsb89angel, Yeah... I agree that singaporean concert-goers are dull... haha... I felt so weird when people around us was like quite while my friends and i were screaming like mad... =P

iruka, I like your avatar! ;D The people around me were not that high... Not all stood up... Initially when I stood up, was afraid I was blocking the people behind... But I've to stand up coz feeling very high already n moreover the people infront of me stood up n I can't see Leehom. When Leehom was singing Long De Chuan Ren, though he asked us to stand up, not everyone did. My side got quite a no. of people who r older in age. Thanks for the pics xiuyue. Sigh, I missed the chance to take pics... Sob sob... So sad that the concert ended... Glad that I've the concert dvd n cd to watch n listen to.

Omg, I just remembered. The part where he was saying he had a crush on kit chan. THAT WAS SOOOOO CUTE!!! Leehom is amazing, he can be so emotional and so hyperactive at the same time! I was heartbroken to hear though that Lee Ang only gave him 1 day of for the cocnert and he had to go back to work, poor poor boy.
