LeeHom's Ai Wu Shou Bu Zai dropped super badly in this week (as announced on 18/1/04). Crashed all the way DOWN the long hu bang chart... Please cast more votes for this song, or else it'll be out of the chart next week!!! Let's also not forget Ni Bu Zai which is ranked 4th currently. LeeHom's 2 songs are facing very very FIERCE competition as new songs from various ou xiangs are entering the chart. We have to be persistent and keep his 2 songs on the chart as long as we can. Let's all work hard... CAST YOUR VOTES!

Earning a quick American buck recently is Lee Hom Wang (‰¤—ÍG), who signed up with McDonald's for the company's new international ad campaign. Lee Hom will be the voice in Chinese-speaking areas for the four-minute ditty composed by McDonald's headquarters. Just for recording the song, Lee Hom is reportedly raking in over seven figures, albeit in NT dollars. Lee Hom will be performing in Taipei on Oct. 11 so if you haven't seen the ad on TV by then, you can probably hear the song at the show.

Sigh... I guess we spore fans have been rather resigned when it comes to this issue. We understand the stand of the record company but such stand simply signals to fans that we are a mere small lot and can be overlooked. Fans(And in particular, Leehom's fans) are generally rationale. We are not expecting or asking much. If Leehom can only come once a year to promote his album, then have the one stop fruitful. Previously we had Leehom sharing his music ideals and opinions with fans, had a McDonald's gathering, etc. It's the simple gesture that counts. We understand leehom's constraints and his packed schedule. The need to produce good music (both for himself and for other artistes) and to interact with fans can be difficult for him to juggle sometimes. We plead that the company or the manager or whoever's in charge of leehom's schedule to arrange for more or fruitful Leehom's presence in Singapore. It's a simple and earnest plea on our part. To remind us that our faith is not a disillusion. And for a relationship to sustain, blind faith can only hold us thus far. Reciprocation and interaction will ensure a more lasting relationship.
And that, is my simple and earnest point of view.
