Wow thanks for the photo. I didn't have cable so didn't manage to see the part where they sing and accidentally show it. What a pity! Tang Wei was like the hot gal last night, everyone loves her!

When I was in lower primary, I only get $1.20 for lunch allowance. Haha.. back then canteen food wasn't so expensive. Yeah I think you get to select a child you want to sponsor and must be committed to it. Don't just do it at the spur of the moment. Think carefully first. It's harder for students but working adults should be able to afford $45 per month!

Yeah I think 50bucks per month or something, can check out the world vision website? Actually other than kids in Laos, there are Cambodia, Myanmar etc etc that we can help also. I've been to Myanmar for Mission trip two years back, kids there are equally under-privileged and really a sad sight. I agree with eve, unless you have been there and experience it else it will hard to feel it just hearing from others. Singaporean kids are really very very fortunate.

Better be safe (boring) than wild especially since you are in a foreign country. Unless you have local (trustworthy) friends to bring you around

Eeps that's pretty scary. That means you gotta be extra duper careful over there in China.
